But it’s no longer yesterday, and it’s not tomorrow yet, it’s Today.
But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first. — Hebrews 3:13-14 (emphasis added)
It is hard to “hold firm till the end“. It is easy to lose the “confidence we had at first.” We need to constantly remind each other of the work and truth of the gospel, as long as it is called Today. We shouldn’t let a day go by where we do not seek first the kingdom of God. And we shouldn’t let a day go by where we do not encourage someone of where we have found and seen the kingdom of God. All of creation is longing to be restored, especially you and me. God gives us inklings, small glimpses of His kingdom so that we can set our hope fully on the grace to be given us when Jesus Christ is revealed (1 Peter 1:13).
Do not ignore the inklings. Do not keep the inklings to yourself. They are what gives us hope.
What inklings have you seen? What gives you hope? Where have you seen the kingdom of God erupting?
I need your encouragement!
